• Green and Light Green luster dust layered together create a dimensional shimmer — not just one flat sparkle
• Use 1/8 tsp per glass. That’s it. More means murky, not magical
• This works for Halloween, St. Patrick’s Day, or any time someone asks for “something fun and non-alcoholic”
• Drop the glitter in last, right before serving — it settles fast
Green Potion Mocktail
This one looks like it belongs in a fantasy tavern. Green edible glitter swirling through cucumber-lime soda, shifting from deep forest green to pale shimmer depending on how the light hits it. Ready in five minutes.
Ingredients
Ingredients
- 1/8 tsp Green Luster Dust
- 1/16 tsp Light Green Luster Dust
- 4 oz cucumber sparkling water
- 2 oz fresh lime juice (about 2 limes)
- 1 oz simple syrup
- 4 oz ginger ale or lemon-lime soda
- 1 cup ice
- 1 lime wheel and fresh mint, to garnish
Instructions
Add ice to a tall glass. Pour in the lime juice and simple syrup, then give it a quick stir to combine.
Pour in the cucumber sparkling water and ginger ale. Go slow — pour down the side of the glass to keep the fizz.
Pinch together your Green Luster Dust and Light Green Luster Dust and drop them right into the center of the glass. Don’t stir yet.
The carbonation does the work. Watch the glitter spiral up through the drink for about 20 seconds — that’s the good part. Give one gentle swirl with a bar spoon to keep it going.
Drop a lime wheel on the rim and slap a sprig of mint between your fingers (releases the oils) before adding it to the glass. Serve immediately.

Tips
The deep Green Luster Dust on its own reads dark — almost too intense. Adding just a touch of Light Green Luster Dust breaks it up and gives the drink that shifting, multi-tonal shimmer. You’re creating depth, not just color. Same principle bakers use when mixing metallics on a cake.
Edible glitter settles. Not fast, but it does settle. Build the drink, add the glitter, garnish, and hand it off — don’t let it sit on the counter for five minutes before serving. If you’re making a batch for a party, prep everything except the glitter and add it glass by glass as guests ask.
Skip the light green entirely and sub in a tiny pinch of Gold Luster Dust instead. Gold through green liquid reads almost bronze-green — earthy and strange in the best way. Good for a Halloween version or any time someone asks for “something a little more evil.”
